REMBRANDTS GOLD # 1
De Parme Design
Princess Margarita de Bourbon de Parme
Masterly – The Dutch in Milano
Palazzo Francesco Turati
Via Meravigli 7
Dutch/Spanish born designer Margarita de Bourbon de Parme is driven by the natural world surrounding her forest situated studio as much as her intuition and curiousness. The Dutch landscape, the movement of light and graphic patterns in nature are part of a world of creative optimism in which she translates her clear vision into objects of fine craftsmanship.
Margarita has been working as interior designer for two decades and is currently working as a product designer for her own brand. She designs furniture rugs and jewelry. “My work is about being inspired, finding ways to reflect nature, the experience of silence and simplicity, enjoying textures, new materials, playing with light and a simple line”.
